Survey of Wells and Water in and around FWDWe care about our water, we care about your water. The FWD trustees often field questions about the impact of water use and contamination on private wells in and around our district. We know that the boundaries set for voters are not the boundaries of our water resources.
As one can see from the aquifer maps on this website, public and private water systems share a common underground source. Water flows through the bedrock beneath us in ways that is difficult to fully understand or track. In order to better understand this source and the connections we share, we invite you to report on your source quality and quantity whether you are within the district or part of a neighboring community. If you are willing and able to share data with us concerning your tap water please fill out a survey below and we will contact you further for information. Thank you |
